Harsh disciplinary tactics, such as regular shouting, routine physical punishment, isolating children during misbehavior, damaging their self-esteem, or unpredictable punishments based on the parent's mood, can have lasting effects. However, it's important to remember that setting clear boundaries for our children's behavior is still essential.
